Increase organic search traffic to Bottles of Joy. Begin the process of discovering a viable content strategy. The desired final outcome is to increase sales.

What We Did:

We hypothesized that more people search wine related terms for educational purpose than for buying purpose. After conducting technical research and SEO audit for Bottles of Joy and her competitors, we created the content on wine education and reviews. We also created specialized landing pages for critical keywords to aid conversions.

The Results

Increase signups for Sent.ly coming from Google Adwords while maintaining a moderate budget.

What We Did:

Our research showed that in major markets for SaaS, many mainstream keywords for SMS were very expensive (over S$2 per click). We hypothesized that we could acquire registered customers more cheaply by focusing on less popular keywords while maintaining a competitive bidding strategy for popular keywords.

Sribulancer is a freelancer marketplace popular in Indonesia. We needed to increase the visibility of the pages with business relevance on Google search.

What We Did:

We performed an in-depth SEO audit of Sribulancer and made a series of recommendations to improve the SEO hygiene of the website, and find ways to highlight the most important pages to Google.

The Results

Plug-In@Blk71 is a startup coworking and incubation space managed jointly by NUS Enterprise, Singtel Innov8 and MDA. Their goal is to be at the heart of tech startup activity in Singapore. We were engaged by NUS Enterprise to help Plug-In@Blk71 to achieve higher rankings for searches related to tech startup activities and needs such as office space in Singapore.

What We Did:

The website of Blk71 site had a very high domain authority thanks to her affiliation with NUS. However, it was not ranking well for target keyword niches because of a combination of factors on the website itself. After an audit of the website, we performed some thorough keyword research, and recommended modifications to anchor text usage, optimised page titles, and moving away from the generic naming convention of the CMS (ie. /node/83/) and towards a more user-friendly version. The changes were implemented over an 8 week period that saw significant improvements to search result rankings.

The Results

  • Plug-In@Blk71 is still a top 3 result on Google for "startup events singapore" in 2015.
  • All the keyword niches that were targeted improved from a position as low as 50+ to uniformly strong on the first page of results.
